When you navigate to Build > Generate Signed Bundle / APK and attempt to configure app. Thanks and sorry for the lengthy post I'm getting old as shit. This update causes an underlying behavior change related to signing keys. Would anyone know what files I would need to delete from my Android file system to get rid of the older install? I'm going to hook it up to my computer later to rummage through to see what I can find but I would prefer not to mess with system files by myself. I'll edit this with a screenshot of the error shortly but basically it detects the older Vanced that was installed and can't update it due to signature mismatch. However, YouTube Vanced downloaded but threw up an error during installation. I then downloaded Vanced Manager and successfully installed microG and YouTube Music Vanced. I'm assuming during the update it detected Vanced as a malicious app and disabled/sandboxed it.
It's a Samsung device and there was a Samsung system update which resulted in Vanced vanishing from my phone. Set the location of the "debug.Hey everyone, I needed a little help with installing Vanced.īasically I had Vanced installed on my Android phone from an apk(sourced from a trusted torrent uploader and I vetted it myself) and not Vanced Manager. Get the "debug.keystore" file from the location showed above and transfer it to "System-B" then goto Android studio > File > Project Structure > SigningConfigs You will get to know your results as Below Variant: debug Config: Steps to take the Debug Key form "System-A" If you don't want to Remove the APk or its not Allowed then you can get the Debug key, System-A and the same Debug to System-B
Note: this option is applicable only if you have the Access to both old and new Systems via which Apk are build respecitively Option 1: Uninstall the Application in your Device and install the New APK
You can solve this Issues in one or the other ways as showed Below. This might be Raised When the Application installed in you device as Different Signature then the Application(apk) you are Trying to install.(in easy words, earlier application is build by "System-A " and now build a Application By "System-B" and trying to install)
